Tobi Takashi (隆 トビ Takashi Tobi) is the antagonist of Rogen Project, later serving as an anti-hero in some episodes. He is a vengeful spirit and nightmare god who is known as the powerful, self-proclaimed ruler of Himawashi.
General Information[edit | edit source]
Tobi Takashi is the god of nightmares and the self-proclaimed ruler of Himawashi. His goal was to take the throne as emperor and in order to do so, he, along with Mikora Amanine, uses Anlyn as an experiment for making "life warmer" just to make the plan for Himawashi's emperor to be a success (this was one of his plans). According to Delianna, his plan does count as ridiculously strange.
Personality[edit | edit source]
According to some residents, Tobi is shown to have a crazy and hostile personality and would show no mercy when fighting his opponents. Whenever he's not fighting, he would show off his vengeful, determined and unfaithful in order to fit the role as an emperor but won't show a harsh manner.
He, however, has a calm and serious side when he's with relatives or training others to protect or to follow his legacy.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Creating darkness and forming nightmares from the minds of his enemies and outside reality
Tobi is well known to create dark and powerful nightmares from the inside and the outside. He does this by inserting the negative energy inside his opponent's head and attempts to defeat them while they're brainwashed.
Background Information[edit | edit source]
Origin[edit | edit source]
Tobi is heavily based of Caim, one of the protagonists from the Drakengard series, due to both sharing similar-ish appearances, both having violent personalities, both sporting a younger and older appearance, wields sword and has a offspring/relative who both share a similar pact. Unlike his basis, Tobi has a voice.
Revealed by Sophietta, he was originally made as an OC by her friend in 2014 for a different (now scrapped) series as a recurring character. But after she scrapped it, he became her character for the project. This makes him the first Rogen character to not be made by the creator.
Name[edit | edit source]
His name Tobi Takashi (隆 トビ) comes from a Japanese origin. His first name Tobi (トビ) may comes from an English sounding name, implied to be short for "Tobias", a masculine given name. The Japanese meaning for his name is "jump", though it dosen't match his character but the other meaning in Hebrew is "God is good" as it fits his species and the opposite side of his character. His surname Takashi (隆) is mainly a given masculine name as it means "prosperous" and "noble", currently fitting his plot.
Design[edit | edit source]
Tobi has short black hair and brown eyes. He wears a noble blue and black jacket designed with black patterns, his sleeve hems are dark blue with golden lines. Tied around his waist is a large matching cloth with a red eye in the middle, added onto it is a small purple cloth. He wears black shorts with purple flame/spirit patterns on, white and blue socks and black shoes.
